Second trailer for Skyline

One day, someone sat in a dark corner, and came up with a plan. Let’s take a fairly limited budget, they said, and see if we can sneak out a remake-by-any-other-name of Independence Day? They nodded sagely. They went off to make Skyline. And the second trailer for the film is showing little sign of shedding the ‘derivative’ accusation.

The film has been put together by The Brothers Strause, who have the quite terrible Aliens Vs Predator – Requiem on their curriculum vitae. This one does look more promising, though, even if – from the trailer alone – it looks like we’ve seen it all before.
