Yes, yes. We know. Harry Potter films have traditionally featured whining teens, a collection of British thesps being kept off the dole, and the occasional moment of intrigue and Alan Rickman to keep you distracted from the derivative nature of most of the movies. However, there are only two movies left now, courtesy of Warner Bros’ decision to split the last book in two, and there’s a brand new trailer that’s just arrived for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I.
Thing is, it’s brilliant. It’s gone dark. It’s gone nasty. It’s gone moody. And it’s hard not to get interested in the film after watching it. Could this be The Empire Strikes Back moment for Harry Potter? Potentially. We won’t find out for certain until 19th November, but until then, here’s the trailer…
