My Soul To Take trailer

Wes Craven shows the whippersnappers how to make a horror movie…

Appreciating that, on paper, the idea of My Soul To Take looks as drab and regurgitated as a bad Happy Meal, there’s still reason to sit up and take notice. For the film – which concerns itself with another bunch of homogenous young American folk, who find themselves haunted by a presumed-dead serial killer – is directed by Wes Craven. The same Wes Craven who’s currently shooting Scream 4, and has the likes of A Nightmare On Elm Street and The Last House On The Left on his not inconsiderable CV.

The first trailer for the film introduces us to some of the ghostly cannon fodder too, although we’re sure that everyone will remove fully clothed for the duration of the movie. Call itself a horror film? Pah.

The film is out later this year, and here’s that trailer…
