Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows trailer

There’s going to be no avoiding this in the weeks ahead. Appreciating that watching some of the earlier Harry Potter movies was about as much pleasure as a Live From Studio Five marathon, the later movies have gone a bit darker, and a lot better as a result.

For the final tome in J K Rowling’s seven-book series, Warner Bros – with its nose firmly tuned to hard cash – has split the story into two films. Thus, we’re getting Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part One in November of this year, and then Part Two will tootle along in July of next.
