In the midst of summer blockbuster season, The Last Airbender might not be the easiest of sells. Based on the animated TV series Avatar: The Last Airbender, the project has no star names, and the source material is hardly widely known. And when you consider what it’s up against, that’s not exactly giving the film a head start.
However, this trailer doesn’t look too bad, and it does have occasionally brilliant director M Night Shyamalan calling the shots. It also highlights that the film will now be in 3D, with a post-production conversion ordered.
The Last Airbender is at UK cinemas in August.
