A Nightmare On Elm Street trailer

We’re a few weeks away now from the release of the remake of A Nightmare On Elm Street, which sees Jackie Earle Haley step into the, er, face of Freddy Krueger.

It’s an odd film to remake, although given the current obsession with pillaging anything vaguely profitable in the past in the pursuit of more cash, it’s hardly surprising that its day has come. And, to be fair, from the latest trailer, it does look like it could have been worse.

The film is released in the UK on 7 May.
