Maxim: You look stunning in our photos but haven't we seen you exposing a bit more?

Kate: Oh God, that photo is all over the internet! I was at the Soap Awards wearing a really low cut dress and accidentally flashed my nipple. I honestly had no idea it had happened until I saw the papers the next day.

Maxim: Did it enhance your pulling power that night?

Kate: No I just ended up getting lashed with all the girls. The problem with those awards nights is that you arrive at 5pm and get given free champagne until it starts at 8.30, so everyone's completely legless before the night even kicks off. All the casts of the different soaps ended up back at the same hotel drinking until check-out time the next day.

Maxim: So have you ever turned up for work still rocking and reeling from the night before?

Kate: No, but I've appeared on stage with a raging hangover. I was doing a panto last year and me and the rest of the cast went for a curry and stayed in the restaurant until 4.30am before having to get up and do two shows. I was supposed to be the princess but I looked more like the wicked witch.

Maxim: Good work. Does being an actress mean you're good at role-playing in the bedroom?

Kate: Yeah, I think whenever anyone tries to be really sexy, they start playing a role but it probably comes easier to actors and actresses as we're always putting on a part. I don't mind dressing up for it either - usually my style is pretty camisole tops and little knickers but I'd go along with a nurses outfit or whatever. I'd want my boyfriend in a fireman's outfit first though. So it's great for playing a part but the downside is that I'm eight different people. Honestly, I don't even know who the real me is as I've got eight personalities. Anyone I've ever gone out with has said that they can never work me out. That's because I don't live on this planet.
