'I was against a wall while a man in a chicken suit was pretending to have sex with me,' says Rachel Grant. No, this isn't some strange leisure activity, but one of the more ridiculous roles that the actress and model has taken on in her early career. 'I was trying to get into acting, and it was this minimum budget film I ended up doing. Everyone on the set was laughing.'
Rachel will be back on your screens soon, shaking her booty in the new Lynx advert along with Sophie Walker. The ladies will be demonstrating a dance that the nation is supposed to imitate. 'It's definitely a dance that anyone can pick up,' says Sophie. 'There's some old '70s moves in there, like The Hustle and The Worm, The Robot, The Bootie Bump,' Rachel says. 'Classic disco moves.'
And do the girls have any tips for the optimum male dancefloor approach?
'I don't like sleazy men - I like guys who can hold a conversation. And when I'm going out with someone, I like getting my necked kissed,' Sophie volunteers. 'That's not an invitation, by the way.' Shame. And are there any real disco turnoffs? 'Men really shouldn't smell, even if they've been dancing,' says Rachel. 'And they should brush their hair. But stinky feet are the biggest turnoff.'
The Lynx Pulse TV ad airs from 10 February
