Public Menace or Harmeless Fun

Could your addiction to social networking site Facebook be ruining your career?

facebook debate

Social networking sites like Facebook are sweeping the planet like an unstoppable virus. Question is, though, just how harmless are they?

Sure, you can 'poke' your colleagues, upload embarrassing photos of your mates, find long lost chums and stalk potential new girlfriends. But you also put yourself at risk of potential career disasters, from being caught surfing at work to your boss finding a photo of you passed out in a pool of your own urine. Not to mention regrettable stuff like drunken 'dangerbooking' at 3am in the morning.

So what do you think? Is Facebook a public menace of harmless fun? You decide!
