What does cricket, comedy, serial killers and a nudey young lady have in common, apart from leaving you a wee bit 'stumped'? The start of The Ashes cricket series, apparently.
Ms Arianna Starr is a hot young lady, who's already been lauded with the coveted Miss Nude Australia crown. But there's more to her finely curved bow than wearing no clothes: this year sees her setting a crease as the latest cinema 'Scream Queen', appearing in an Oz horror-comedy called I Know How Many Runs You Scored Last Summer.
It's properly batty stuff as well: a serial killer dubbed the 'Pommie Bastard', gets to slaughter folk with an arsenal of cricket-related weaponry. Having not seen the film, it's tricky to know just what these weapons might entail, but Ian Botham's greying chin whiskers doused in acid and Geoffrey Boycott's gruff Yorkishire tones recorded on a mega-PC and played really loud could definitely prove lethal under the right circumstances.
Anyway, the film's out on DVD now, just in time for the start of The Ashes, during which we're going to stuff those Aussies, right? Fingers crossed, gentlemen.
