You have been on several top tv shows, what was the most outrageous experience you had to go through on any of these shows?
My Cake Boss experience was both outrageous and humbling. I hosted a party to celebrate my life motto: "Make the Impossible, Possible." For the party I ordered a diamond-encrusted cake. The budget for the cake started at 7 million but that wasn't enough diamonds so we ended up going up to 30 million dollars worth of jewels. There was tonnes of security on set and I was sweating bullets the entire time, imagining that the cake would get kidnapped and I would be held responsible for the precious stones. Creating the most expensive cake in history definitely had a price - the biggest adrenaline rush I've ever had!
You are currently NY hottest new socialite and often titled a "luxury expert": what are the 5 essential luxury objects every man should have (be concrete)
Every man's first luxury purchase should be a watch. The go-to brands are Rolex, Cartier, Gucci, Technocrat, Baume & Mercier and Eterna. Next up, a man truly needs a great pair of shoes. Recently I've become obsessed with Del Toro Shoes - they are the epitome of luxury. And rounding out the list, luxury should be a shared experience so men should own a top-of-the-line television, sumptuous sheets, and a sleek car to pick up your date!
You are releasing your own jewelry and lingerie line: If a man wants to get his girl something hot, what are the trendy must-haves now that will surely make her happy?
My love necklace comes out right before Valentine's day and the lingerie line will hopefully be ready before summer. What inspires me and every woman is love! When gifting, every man should have the intention of inspiring romance and making his girl feel special. A red negligee or a delicate teddy silently communicates, "I think you're sexy." A piece of jewelry is a wonderful gesture as well because the man will always be on her mind when she wears it!
What does your ideal first date experience entail... walk us through it?
My ideal date could be anywhere. I'm as happy with a slice of pizza as I am with caviar, but what makes a date perfect for me is laughter and comfort. I want to smile from ear to ear and be silly. If I can feel comfortable and at ease around someone, then I'm a happy girl.
After a great 1st date, how and when should he follow up?
I think all guys should text girls the day after their first date. Communication is key for me, so if I don't hear constantly from a person then I don't trust them and relationships are all about trust and friendship. The way to win my heart is definitely morning texts. Waking up to a picture of a rose or what he sees outside his window or on his way to work in the morning is so romantic and a great way to start the day.
