It's the night of Halloween in a quaint Hungarian town. A man, born himself of Dracula country in Transylvania (yes, that's IN Romania before you start excitedly waving atlases at us) looks on as his partner gives birth to a beautiful baby girl, surrounded by the warm flicker of candlelight...
Did Suzanna's arrival really happen that way? Well, we bloody well hope so!
For an East European model who's making a name for herself in horror cinema, the heritage couldn't be more perfect. Not only was Suzanna Urszuly REALLY born on Halloween and has a dad from Transylvania, she's also tracing the famous steps of that other famous Hungarian scare-master - the mighty Bella Lugosi!
Next on the cards for the scrumptious Suzanna Urszuly is a trilogy of suspense flicks called Wild East, set in '90s Eastern Europe after the fall of the Berlin Wall. These are set for spring and will be produced by FilmTiger in Belgrade, Serbia and co-directed by Michael Philip and Chris Ver Wiel.
And um, not very horror-like, she'll also be hosting her own internet TV series Living In The Fast Lane (created by Hype Inc.), which is about fashion, photoshoots and parties. Maybe Dracula will give that one a miss - unless they stock up on the Bloody Marys and garlic shots!
