You play a hot-blooded jewel thief in Femme Fatale. Should we be keeping our hands on our valuables during this interview?

I'd be a terrible jewel thief in real life. The only thing I can compare it to is shoplifting or making crank calls. And I'm no good at either of those. I can't keep a straight face - I just laugh.

Your new film Femme Fatale has a gem heist that involves two gorgeous women going at each other in a public rest room.

Yes! I knew it! How long did it take Maxim to ask me about the lesbo scene? Four minutes?
Actually, I haven't seen it either, because I cover my eyes during that and my sex scene with Antonio... and my striptease scene.

Are men always trying it on with you?

Honestly, I get hit on by more girls than guys. You know, this whole 'lesbian chic' thing has just gotten way out of control. It seems that almost every girl I know is bisexual except for me. I don't have a problem with it, but it doesn't fly in my relationship.

How was it going under a fresh coat of blue body paint for the filming of X-Men 2?

I was absolutely dreading it. I get really moody when I'm in that make-up. But they've actually improved the process a little this time around. Instead of nine hours, it only takes five.

Were you okay with your character Mystique in the X-Men not wearing clothes?

Well, she wears a costume in the comic book, so I've had these hardcore X-Men fans come up to me and say: 'Mystique's supposed to have a white dress with a skull belt!' And I say: 'She's a shape-shifter! She can change the very cells of her body! Why would she need clothes?'
