We reckon you've been on Brookside since you were a nipper. Have you ever done a proper day's work?

I've never even had a Saturday job. When I was five I remember watching some dancers on the telly and I just started dancing round the room. There was a chance I might have had a career in ballet but then I discovered acting. So if I hadn't made it as an actress I would have been a singer or a dancer.

As Britain's sauciest soap star, you must get men flinging themselves at you.

It's weird because I don't get much attention from men. Everyone in Liverpool is used to seeing me out but I think I scare men off because they always see me whacking Tinhead [Philip Olivier] about on the show and think they're going to cop a load of grief from me.

	What can I say? I'm a big-chested girl, I've got curves, hips and a waist - and it's all mine!

When you were going out with Steven Gerrard, who got more attention?

He always did. It was mad if we tried to go out in Liverpool because if people didn't recognise him, they'd notice me, which is why we used to stay in most of the time. We were probably the most boring couple in Liverpool. The good thing is that because we didn't split up on bad terms, we're still good mates.

You've got very few clothes on in our shoot. Could we ever tempt you to go naked?

Only if it was a Hollywood blockbuster and it was absolutely necessary. I couldn't go naked in a photo shoot because my nan wouldn't be able to put it in her scrapbook. But I'd be well up for running about in a bikini for Baywatch. I doubt they'd ask me, though.

If you had to do a lesbian snogging scene in Brookside, who would you fancy doing it with?

Suzanne Collins, who plays my sister. We know each other so well we could at least have a laugh doing it. God, if she reads this, she's going to run a mile!

Be honest. Is it true you've had a boob job?

According to the papers I've had my boobs and lips done and had extensions put in my hair. What are they trying to turn me into - Jordan? The problem is, I've grown up on screen and after I stopped dancing I put weight on all over. What can I say? I'm a big-chested girl, I've got curves, hips and a waist - and it's all mine!
