Emma Frain has probably never been imprisoned with another man, bonded over a number of years, and found solace and eventual redemption through acts of common decency;
Emma Frain probably never ran scams inside said prison to get cash to open libraries in order to help fellow inmates attain educational qualifications and become self-reliant individuals once re-established in society;
Emma Frain has probably never even said this: "Bad luck, I guess. It floats around. It's got to land on somebody. It was my turn, that's all. I was in the path of the tornado. I just didn't expect the storm would last as long as it has."
