It’s official: Britain’s young women like nothing more than an illicit fling. They lead the world in one-night stands, beating the Germans, Americans, Australians and Canadians hands down when it comes to a bit of naughtiness on the side. British women have more sex, more often, with more people than any other women anywhere on Earth. Isn’t this a great nation, or what?

A poll of 14,000 women by Bradley University in Illinois found that British women love a one-night stand – 35 per cent would rather have an affair than find someone who’s single.

Girls are sleeping around more than blokes these days. By the age of 21 they’ve had sex with an average of nine lovers – two more than their male partners. So don’t believe any of that old guff about you ‘being their third…’

Girls are also twice as likely to be unfaithful, with 50 per cent admitting they have cheated on a partner – half at least twice!

32 per cent of women believe love to be an important factor before having sex, but 50 per cent confessed to having had a one-night stand and a fifth had enjoyed more than five.

23 per cent of women in a relationship with a man would consider having sex with another woman.

One in four girls said they would marry for money and a hefty 39 per cent reckoned they’d sleep with their boss if it got them a promotion. 27 per cent would have an affair with a married man, while 14 per cent would shag their best mate’s partner.

A measly 1 per cent said they would wait until marriage to have sex. Bless.
