This is a chance to work on your technique so make sure your arms do not cross over the centre line of your body and try to breathe every three strokes.
Distance: 1 length Start at the deep end. Take a few deep breaths, let your body drop under the surface and push off from the side with both legs so that you’re gliding underwater.
Distance: 2 lengths
Quickly put on the short swimming fins and swim freestyle, using your legs to provide the power and only using your arms to maintain the stroke.
