Barbell and Bench Workout
Flat bench press

Target: chest - Sets 1, Reps 8-12/6

 
 
This move is a bit tricky if you don't have a spotter or a rack on your bench. Lie face up on the bench and grasp the barbell with a grip just outside of shoulder width.

 
Lower the bar towards your chest until your upper arms are parallel to the floor - lowering the bar any further may put too much stress on your shoulder joints. Slowly return to the starting position and repeat.

Flat bench French press

Target: triceps - Sets 1, Reps 8-12/6
 

Lying knee raise/reverse crunch

Target: abdominals - Sets 1, Reps 15
