What training shoes are best he gym? I do a mixture of cardio, weights and classes.

Matt Hart replies: Your priority should be injury prevention, and there are two basic areas. The first is injuries generated through polonged, repeated impact. If the mainstay of your gym routine is running, use a specific running shoe for support and cushioning. The second is injuries from twisting or a lack of support. So if you do a lot of circuit training and classes, a cross-training shoe would offer more stability and support for lateral rotational movements.
