Matt Hart answers: This is the area where men store the most fat, so even if you’re eating carefully and training hard you can lose fat from everywhere else but still retain some around your middle. Focus on building up your chest, shoulders and back. This will distract attention from your stomach, so any lingering fat will be far less obvious. There’s also a danger that if you press on with your fat loss campaign the leaner parts of your body could end up looking scrawny.
