Build muscles with a little helping hand

Men’s Fitness is full of ads for protein shakes. Will drinking them give me bigger muscles?

Not without some serious training. If you are doing the right exercises, drinking whey protein shakes before and after your session may help to build and strengthen muscles. If you can’t afford these drinks, there’s whey protein in milk, so a glass of semi-skimmed milk (along with a carbohydrate snack for energy) will do the job.
