As with THE LEGEND Stephen Baldwin, Celebrity Big Brother revealed that ex-footballer Vinnie Jones has starred in a lot of films. We could only think of about eight but we bet in the other 43 of his reported '50', he undertook deep, varied and emotional roles, ranging from eccentric thinkers to giant cats in sunglasses.
The list below suggests we were mostly, but not completely, wrong...
1) LEGEND OF THE BOG (2009)
What's it about? A 2,000-year old murder victim, preserved in an Irish peat bog, goes on the rampage after being disturbed by developers. Cockney hunter Vinnie tries to save the day.
IMDB.com average user score: 3.6/10
User quote: "Inane, idiotic, imbecille, illogical, inconsistent..."
2) THE BIG BOUNCE (2004)
What is it? Con-artist film set in sunny Hawaii, with a glittery cast of Morgan Freeman, Owen Wilson and Charlie Sheen alongside Vinnie.
IMDB.com average user score: 4.8/10
User quote: "Big waste of time and talent."
3) TOOTH AND NAIL (2007)
What's it about? Post-apocalyptic thriller, where half of the survivors are hungry cannibals and want feeding. Vinnie is one of the cannibals. Michael Madsen also stars.
IMDB.com average user score: 5.1/10
User quote: "Waste of talented actors!"
4) PLAYED (2006)
What is it? London gangster flick shot on a small budget, despite having Val Kilmer, Garbriel Byrne and Vinnie Jones on the billing. Vinnie, by the way, plays a bent cop.
IMDB.com average user score: 4.4/10
User quote: "The script is chock full of the 'F' word & variations of same plus other choice vulgarisms..."
5) JOHNNY WAS (2006)
What is it? Gritty Irish gangster 'fun', starring Vinnie as a reformed ex-IRA bad boy who tries to lie low in London, only for his reformed mentor to break out of Brixton prison. Trouble doth brew!
IMDB.com average user score: 5.5/10
User quote: "For anyone who likes a mad little movie with a heart and a brain, it's a great night in!"
6) SHE'S THE MAN (2006)
What is it? A romantic comedy based on Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, with plenty of gender bender action, about a woman disguising herself as a man, and falling for a football team-mate. Yes, Vinnie is in this.
IMDB.com user score: 6.5/10
User quote: "I can't remember a movie where I laughed SO hard; literal out loud, deep bursts of laughter because this movie is hilarious."
7) SLIPSTREAM (2005)
What is it? Not to be confused with the 1989 Mark Hammil flick, 2005 Slipstream is a sci-fi crime thriller about a scientist who invents a 10-min time travel device for the purpose of robbing banks. Jones isn't the main man but he does have thes best name in it: Winston Briggs.
IMDB.com user score: 4.7/10
User quote: "This is the worst thing I've ever seen."
8) THE RIDDLE (2007)
What is it? Agatha Christie-esque thriller with a literally twist. Vinnie investigates a bunch of murders after an olde Charles Dickens novel is found. English acting stalwarts Vanessa Redgrave and Derek Jacobi provide a thespian edge.
IMDB.com user score: 5.2/10
User quote: "The only Riddle is why on earth did Derek Jacobi appear in it!"
9) MYSTERIOUS ISLAND (2005)
What is it? Made-for-telly fantasy yarn based on a Jules Verne novel, except it apparently has a completely different storyline to the novel(!?). Kyle McLachlan and Patrick Stewart star alongside silly giant rats.
IMDB.com user rating: 4.3/10
User quote: "Picture beautiful Thailand with lush vegetation. Now superimpose cheesy giant CGI critters that look like they were thrown together in an afternoon of programming while playing the original "DOOM!" game."
10) GARFIELD: A TALE OF TWO KITTIES (2006)
What is it? A live-action young kid's film about a fat orange cat. Vinnie provides one of the voices, alongside other such multi-coveted talent as Bob Hoskins, Richard E Grant and, um, Joe Pasquale.
IMDB.com user rating: 4.8/10
User quote: "The baking Lasagna scene is wonderful for anyone who cooks with their children."
