A good film to us is one that sticks in your mind long after you have left the cinema or turned off the DVD player. It might be a scene that you can't get out of your head, a joke that keeps making you laugh or simply a performance that changes the way you think about the world. Good films linger. This little lot all have that quality: be it the extraordinary plot of Memento, the sheer bravado of City of God or the balls out humour of Anchorman. These are our movies of the decade.
