Tango 12
2012, Poland & Ukraine
Unveiled at the Euro 2012 official draw by famous Ukrainian pole vaulter, Sergey Bubka, the Tango 12 is the eleventh Official Match Ball of the UEFA EURO tournament. A modern interpretation of the classic adidas Tango design of the early 1980s, the Tango 12 incorporates designs and colouring that pay tribute to the two host countries.
Carefully inscribes into the Tango design are bespoke graphics paying homage to the art of paper cutting, a tradition in rural parts of both countries and symbols of the three tenets of fotballs – unity, rivalry and passion.
