TICKETING APPLICATION OVERVIEW:

• Applications will close on April 26 2011 and all oversubscribed sessions will be allocated via a ballot process.
• Applications can be made at any point during the 6 week application period – it is not a first come, first served process.
• Tickets for the Olympic Games will be sold by session, the length of which will vary from sport to sport and there will be over 600 separate ticketed sessions across the 26 Olympic sports.
• When choosing the sessions you want to apply for, you choose seats in a price category rather than a specific seat or area within the venue.
• You will also be able to add a price range, indicating the lowest and/or highest prices you are willing to pay for tickets to a session – by entering this range it will increase your chances of being allocated tickets.
• Certain sessions will have limits on the number of tickets available for each household. More details about limits for sessions will be made available later this year
• LOCOG will have a resale process and further details will be made available later this year.
• Wheelchair spaces and companion seats, as well as seats for people with other accessibility requirements, will be available for every sport. You will be asked to specify any accessibility requirements you may have in your application.
