We give you incredible paint brand new wings brand new interior massive sound system top of the range interiors and on top of that we put the real flavour in there – fantasy stuff, crazy stuff, stuff you wouldn’t dream of having on a car, things like a fully functional American diner: you got bar stools you got hotdog making machines, you got a milkshake making machine.

We do it depending on what they’re into – for one kid who liked boarding we put a skateboard ramp on a Panda. One kid was into working–out so we put a fully functioning gym in the back of his car with weights. Someone had a Nissan Sunny who loved the beach so we put a beach inside his car.

You what? You made a car so someone could make milkshakes while driving?

Nah, but he had the rudest car, it was in the boot, with the diner, you know, stools, hotdog making machine. It all pulled out of the boot. There was a sign saying ‘Welcome to Betty’s Diner’ He could set it all up with the music from his car-juke-box playing

Have you ever pimped an entire bus?  

For comic relief, we pimped a Granny bus that took these lil' old ladies to the community centre so they could play bingo and get fish and chips. What we did with that bus was crazy, we put waterproof seats in, screens on the back of all the seats so they could play interactive bingo, we put in a brand new hydraulic chair-lift so the Grannies could get their legs up! We sprayed it sunset gold so it looked amazing and we put their logo on and their coat of arms. A real nice sound system and walking stick holders, a hard boiled sweet dispenser

What sort of music was spilling out the speakers? Some phat beats or some nice Lonnie Donegan...?

Nah, it was bingo being called out, you know 88 two fat ladies

After pimping a granny bus, do you reckon you can pimp anything?

We’ve had a pool table and lawn boules – there was this teacher by the name of Danny, and we put 64 speakers into his car and we put a version of lawn boules in his car, with a little bit of lawn that came out.

What kind of car do you have, super pimp?

I have the hottest car in the country to be honest with you: a fully restored Chevy Impala. An old school mushroom car, it looks amazing, fully chromed up, powerful. I’ve got some trucks a Chevy Suburban?? And a Chevy I can’t even remember, I’ve got like three trucks and an SUV...

Are these rides pimped for pulling?

Honestly, I think a lot of people do it for themselves and a lot of people do it because a hot car gives you respect. I used to drive a ford escort man.  I used to think that was a hot ride man (a Ford Escort in red) until I got into a hot car with a proper interior all done-up. People enjoy cars man.

Come on, there must be some proper shagmobiles out there...

Well, we put beds in cars. This girl had a Volkswagen van and she used to have sex in the back anyway so we made it really luxurious in there for her and her boyfriend.

Have you done any pimping for your long list of celeb mates?

We pimped Madonna’s ride for one of her videos. She was very, very happy with that. She was really proud of that. We put a fully-functional nightclub in the back of hers with a mirror ball, purple snakeskin, luxurious shagpile. The whole video was her just dancing in the back of her van.
