Dead hard wrestler!

	Only journalists ask me for photos with them in headlocks. And yeah, it does really piss me off...

Kane (real name Glenn Jacobs) is bloody huge and really very snarly. Remember, this is the SEVEN-FOOT behemoth who was once incinerated by his bro The Undertaker in a funeral fire, but then rose from the DEAD thanks to some occult dabbling and ace WWE storylining.

Since then, he's FLATTENED friends, foes and family alike, and SET FIRE to some of wrestling's most twattable faces. We almost like KANE as much as we like WWE wrestling. But that still didn't stop us from getting right on his wick - by accident, of course. Especially when we brought up the fact he used to fix teeth. Thankfully, our chat was done several miles away over the phone, even if that meant we couldn't get in our customary 'journo in headlock' pose...

Didn't you originally enter the WWE as Jerry Lawler's private dentist Isaac Yankem? Who's daft idea was that?

[Very long pause]. It wasn't mine. Let's leave it at that.

Okay, so you won't say if Jerry Lawler had bad teeth or not?

Uhhh, I tend not to talk about stuff like that. I like what I'm doing now.

Fair play. When you entered the WWE as Kane, you were The Undertaker's brother who'd been killed in a funeral fire, and he'd like, raised from the dead or something. How cool a storyline was that?

I think it may be the BEST storyline ever. Kane was talked about six-months before I made my entrance. It was some of the most creative stuff the WWE had ever done [burial matches, casket matches, fire scars, unmasking etc - you get the idea]. The supernatural stuff was so convincing because The Undertaker is such a great performer.

Kane is obsessed with fire isn't he? Didn't you set fire to a couple of other wrestlers as well? Isn't that a bit, like, very dangerous?

Haha. It's VERY dangerous. One time, we used a Hollywood stunt co-ordinator and he couldn’t believe we were going to do what we did in real-time, but it turned out really well. He was impressed to say with the least.

Have you ever been set on fire in WWE and did it hurt?

Yeah, and it hurt like hell because my unprotected arm got burned, which was my own fault. The stunt didn’t go wrong as such, I just pushed it, and it’s just like leaving your arm right over a stove for too long.

Do you have 'safety words' if anyone gets really hurt in matches? Like in sordid sex games?

Haha, no. You sorta know when something bad happens. I've seen people with dislocations which is always horrific because things aren't where they're supposed to be. I broke my hand once but I carried on. There's so much adrenline pumping through you.

If all the WWE wrestlers had one big punch-up for REAL, who do you think would win?

Big Show, obviously, because he's real big. And Shelton Benjamin, who was an all-American wrestler at the University of Minnesota, and is a real tough guy. Oh, and Santino Marella, because he's a Judo champion, and besides, if he's ever in trouble he can just joke his way out of it because he's such a funny guy and would have you in fits of laughter.

That would be a great finishing move.

It's not as good as my chokeslam or Shawn Michaels' Super Kick. The latter can kick you into next week.

I met the Big Show once and he got really pissed off when I asked if I could pose with him with me in a headlock. Do you get asked that and does it piss you off, too?

Yeah I do, and actually it does [piss me off].

What do you say if someone asks you?

'No'! Haha. Actually it's only journalists who ask for that. Normal people never do.
