After a six week battle between 10 comic hopefuls culminating in a hotly contended final live from London’s Hammersmith Apollo, in front of an audience of millions, experienced comedian and ex-warm up man, Patrick walked away with the ultimate prize in stand up; £100,000, his own nationwide tour and a DVD release.
Taking in 12 cities over two weeks, Show Me The Funny Live begins in Stevenage at the Gordon Craig Theatre on 17th September, and will visit Nottingham, Middlesbrough, Sheffield, Leeds, Canterbury, London, Milton Keynes, Southend, Derby and Bromsgrove, before ending in Newbury on the 30th September. Tickets are available through www.ticketzone.co.uk.
Patrick said: “I’m really looking forward to doing the tour show and DVD so that l can get to see the audience that watched and voted for me on the Show Me The Funny TV show. I can return the favour by giving them a comedy show and a free cuddle afterwards!”
Patrick’s act promises to tickle the funny bones of all the family, involving audience interaction as well as animated story-telling, drawing on his experience of being the only stand-up in the world of Irish-Iranian decent.
Patrick will be joined by his fellow finalists, Dan Mitchell and Tiffany Stevenson, for the duration of the tour. Dan, a former undertaker, was credited with having “funny bones” by Show Me The Funny judge and feared comedy critic, Kate Copstick. Dan is known for his observational style comedy and social satire as well as for his brash tone and effervescent vocabulary. Seasoned comedian, Tiffany, runs her own comedy night in London, and her experienced delivery and self-deprecating humour proved a big hit with the audience and judges throughout the series.
The Show Me The Funny Live tour promises to be a laughter-filled night out for comedy fans all over.
Ed Smith, Promoter from Phil McIntyre Entertainments, leading Comedy Promoter of live comedy in the UK, said: “We are delighted to be working with such fantastic talent and to be with them as they continue their journey to the very top.”

The DVD of the tour will be recorded at London’s Bloomsbury Theatre on 25th September. The DVD will be released by 2Entertain, the number one DVD distributor for British comedy. Big Talk Productions - the team behind the ITV1 show - will co-produce the tour and DVD.
