We appreciate reading this is going to be extremely difficult. When you’re faced by something so glorious, so red, and so completely and totally fresh as the Ferrari California, it’s always going to be a little tricky to concentrate on mere words.
But bear with us for a moment. You see there are three key things you need to know about this particular Italian stallion – and the first is the reason why we’re so keen to stress the newness of it. You see, the California is a brand spanking addition to the Ferrari range (a small grand tourer to sit under the 612 Scaglietti to be precise) not a derivative of, or a replacement for a current model. Secondly, it features a folding metal roof – something never seen on a Ferrari before.
Finally, the California is the only ever car to wear the Prancing Horse that has a front-mounted V8 engine. And that is pretty much it. You can get back to drooling over the fabulous pictures now.
