This year Great Britain is swapping culture with Jamaica and for one night only, the unique sights, sounds, smells and tastes of this much-loved Caribbean paradise will be taking over the stunning Alexandra Palace in London, when it will be transformed into an authentic Jamaican party setting and extraordinary, one-of-a-kind nightlife experience.
Headlining this unforgettable event and performing an exclusive DJ set to a 3,000-strong crowd will be multi award-winning dance super group Basement Jaxx. Joining them on the main stage will be Mercury prize winner and acclaimed hip-hop artist Ms. Dynamite and legendary septuagenarian Jamaican band The Jolly Boys along with bonafide hitmaker in the dancehall community Assassin, who will be performing his 'Self Destruct' collaboration with Ms Dynamite live for the very first time.
Further line-up includes Radio 1 DJ Rob da Bank, Toddla T, Reggae Roast, Wall of Sound presents Good Vibrations and Soul Jazz Sound System.
To enter tell us the name of Basement Jaxx's first album and send it along with your address, phone number to chaps@maxim.co.uk.
