Like most men, I like a pint in the pub. I also like a good festival. What I don't like is standing in a hot tent with mud for a floor waiting for a badly poured pint in a plastic glass. Huzzah, then for the Carling local.
The idea is simple: take the atmosphere and vibe of a blinding pub and pitch up at some of the year's best festivals. The Carling Local has already opened its doors at the Isle of Wight Festival, where Sir Paul McCartney was seen enjoying the hospitality, and Rock Ness also enjoyed Carling's local atmosphere. Plan B made a special appearance at the Rock Ness local and, who can say, without a few Carling's down his neck would his performance have been so awesome? We don't know, but we doubt it.
The Local is a great idea: As a fully functioning pub, the Carling Local is the perfect watering hole for the weekend. Festival goers can kick back and enjoy all the comforts of their regular local including a perfectly poured, ice cold pint of Carling.
If you missed out on the Isle of Wight or Rock Ness, fret not: Carling will be taking the local to V Festival, in August! For more information on Carling’s festival activity visit www.carling.com
