If You Thought Star Wars Couldn’t Get Worse…

Let’s be charitable. Let’s suggest that George Lucas’ Star Wars prequel trilogy could have, er, ‘used a bit more work’. Nonetheless, such cash was made that the Man With The Golden Beard is keen to continue to pillage our childhood memories.

This time, the plan is apparently for a new Star Wars television series, by the name of Squishies. We assure you, we do not make this shit up. The new is being reported over at IESB, where it reveals that the new show will be aimed at pre-school children, and will feature toys from the Star Wars: Galactic Heroes range.

Those of you with longer memories may recall that this isn’t Lucas’ first attempt to make a kids show out of Star Wars: Droids and the bloody Ewoks spin-offs spring to mind. Squishies sounds like it could top them both…
