There’s nothing better than a night out
with the lads, but just imagine what they’d say if your mum dropped you
off? This may become a reality if
you have that drink this Christmas and get in your car to drive home. Although you may think you’re alright,
that drink could tip you over the legal limit and result in a driving ban,
losing you your car for a minimum of 12 months and landing you a £5,000
fine. That’s a year of getting
your mum to give you a lift – and that’s if you can even afford to go out after
the hefty fine.
Party smart this year and think twice about
how you will get home by planning ahead – take advantage of THINK!’s Driver
Friendly partnership initiative which will see thousands of pubs and bars
offering free or discounted soft drinks this Christmas.
To celebrate the designated driver, we have
teamed up with THINK! to offer one lucky reader a night out for you and three and of your mates to a concert
or comedy night of your choice.
The prize includes tickets, travel to London, overnight hotel
accommodation with brekkie in the morning and a chauffeur-driven car to and
from the event. All you have to do is answer the question below:
What is the minimum length of time you will
lose your driving licence and the use of your car if caught drink driving?
a) 12 months
b) 6 months
c) 3 months
Send your answer to chaps@maxim.co.uk and we'll pick a winner after we've finished eating our Christmas pud.
