We are looking for keen, clued-up, smart young people to come and do work experience at Maxim. What does 'work experience' involve, I hear you ask. In the past, it would have meant being gaffer-taped, naked to an office chair with a dunce's hat on your head and wheeled out into London's Oxford Circus in time for the lunch time rush. Sadly, law suits and various human rights issues have seen those days go the way of smoking in pubs and Liverpool winning football games.
What we can promise you is a varied day with a good bunch of experienced people. You might be asked to write a review of a film, taste-test a malt whiskey, source a funny video and jump into the murky world of what intellectuals call 'social networking'. It's hard, fast, exciting work, and it's not for weak-willed sap suckers.
If you think you'd like a crack at getting some experience in a top-flight publishing house, you know your way around the web and can use a computer for more than playing games, send your details to the main man below, and he'll get back to you.
Applicants should be able to get to the west end of London on a daily basis.
