BSA have been around since 1861, having started life making guns and rifles before turning to motorcycles – and now they’ve been reborn with a new clothing line. Harking back to the BSA glory days, the collection has a slightly retro look with a few biker-style touches.
Key pieces include five vintage-look biker jackets all named after iconic BSA bikes such as the ‘Hornet’ and the ‘Spitfire’. The ‘Hornet’ jacket looks very 1950s, with its cropped biker style, but it keeps things lively with contrasting leather sleeves and bright-yellow pocket detailing. The jackets all feature the authentic BSA logo and use horn, antique brass or gold buttons.
If biker jackets aren’t your thing, the hunting jacket with adjustable back vents is a good alternative. Shirting is on the casual side, with plenty of plaids, while knitwear is simple and homely. In keeping with the heritage feel, T-shirts feature old BSA advertising images. The line has a very British feel, combining subtle luxury with rugged appeal. You’ll feel like King Of The Open Road, even if you’ve never been on a motorcycle…
