Actually it’s Simon, but who are we to argue? Barnzley’s been on the scene since the scene began. As a stylist in the 1980s he pioneered the smiley-faced ‘acciieed!’ fashion when the Shoom! Club and DJ Danny Rampling were barely waving their hands in the air. Now he’s launched a clothing line with an acid edge to mark the 20th anniversary of the rave scene. Brightly coloured tees are teamed with New Era caps sporting smiley faces, and there are ‘Drug Dealer’ coats, jeans and jackets made from Arab scarves.
