With their strongest menswear collection to date, they’ve managed to roll with some of this season’s key trends while keeping it all very wearable.
The winners include a great range of Harrington jackets – pay special attention to the red and white version. Tailoring is relaxed and informal: there are sharp blazers, tailored shorts – all in fresh, light colours – and even seersucker for the style adventurers out there. Denim has been improved, with a narrower silhouette – the white jeans should be this season’s wardrobe staple. But it’s not just about imitating Russell Brand’s trouser style: cardigans are slimmer, with neat contrasting trims in pastels and bold stripes. All in all, it’s a smart collection that is going to be available in 125 UK stores. That should mean that New Look will be displaying their menswear more prominently in future – making it much easier for you lot out there to get your hands on it!
