Raise a glass to Topman, as when when it comes to the high street, it's way ahead of the pack.

This season Topman is busily launching a new boutique called Lens, which will be located within its Oxford Circus flagship store. It'll stock its very own designer labels, with its own bags, tags and branding.

Lines from five designers kickstart the launch of Lens: Dexter Wong, Fred Perry, Licentious, Siv Stoldal and LtD. The LtD collection has a luxury heritage vibe, with lots of Jersey and dogtooth knits. We've got one eye on the cream blazer with satin trim. The green parka in the Siv collection is also a key piece, while Fred Perry has raided its nigh-inexaustible archives.

Dexter Wong's collection is a lesson in smart minimalism, with cropped double-breasted belted jackets, schoolboy cardigans and slim-leg trousers.
