Counterfeit match tickets may be flooding the streets of Germany this summer, but those in the know will be bowling down the strasse wearing Fake London Genius.
Not as ovious as your three-lions-and-a-Beckham-seven-on-the-back posse, Fake has track tops featuring three greyhounds and subtle numbering. The English red rose has also been embroidered on T-shirts and trackies.
A nice ‘goalkeeper green’ sweat with white polo-shirt collar, emroidered red rose and number five on the front will help tip style shots by Johnny Foreigner over the bar. The greyhound also appears on short-sleeved, stripy rugby shirts. It might not be football, but you may find yourself in a scrum or two.
T-shirts for the morning before a big game include: ‘Full English breakfast at Tiffany’s’ and ‘Festival international du beer Cannes’. There’s also a nod to military styling, inspired by RAF flying suits. Whistle The Dam Busters theme tune all you like – just don’t mention the war!
