
Over the years, it has been produced in a huge variety of limited-edition colourways. The shoes were endorsed by the Japanese athletics team in 1968, and made truly iconic by Bruce Lee when he wore them in Game Of Death, in 1978.
This was the first trainer by Onitsuka Tiger to feature the now iconic tiger stripes on the side of the upper section. The stripes were developed to support the foot while running, while the suede toe-piece also helped make the shoe more durable.
A favourite in the Onitsuka collection, the ‘Mexico 66’ continutes to be a worldwide best seller.
