An alternative to Converse, Pointer is a new UK company, inspired by the street. This is a new wave of pump. White lo-tops keep it pure, but more edgy are the green gingham-print version, or hi-top red and black dog-tooth check numbers. Creative director Gareth Skewis previously worked for revered British clothing label Silas. Skate influenced, but you don’t have to be able to do an ollie to get a pair from Offspring stores.
