John Boyd Dunlop was the first to develop and patent a pneumatic tyre back in 1888. The Grand Prix-style jackets in the all-new clothing range, are a nod to their motoring past. Tennis was where Dunlop really made its name. The famous 'Green Flash' pumps celebrated their 75th anniversary last year. V-neck sweaters and tank tops in Wimbledon-white, remind us of the legendary Fred Perry (pictured below). Perry wore 'Green Flash' when he won the men's singles in 1935 and 1936. The classic 'flying D' logo is featured throughout the collection, which is cleverly revealed when you unzip the bottom of the trackie pants. This sportswear is definitely not for chavs or visits to your local Arndale Centre. Apparently there's a Dunlop family tartan which dates back to 1197.
