Call a horology séance, and alert Norris McWhirter – Swatch has developed the thinnest synthetic chronograph the world has ever barely seen! A measly 6.6mm thick – my, that’s a thin piece. The ‘Phenomenon’ is part of Swatch’s ‘Skin’ range, and takes its lead from runway fashion trends. White indicies work starkly on a jet-black dial – like Chewie’s view of the stars when Han hits the hyperdrive… Three chronograph sub-dials are laid out on a futuristic grey triangle, while buttons and winder swell from the case in a moulded sci-fi finish. What is Wookie for ‘wicked’?
