We've been very impressed with Cherokee’s stylish summer offerings. They're exclusive to Tesco stores, the label’s taken its cues from the catwalks of Paris and Milan, and also from big players like Burberry, Rykiel Homme and Givenchy. Block colours are key – cobalt blue parachute pants, emerald green, red or pink vests and canary yellow sleeveless hoodies are mixed with white. They're perfect for the current posh yachting and public-schoolboy trends. Finer details are full of functionality – tonal stitching, neon trims and piping and climbing-inspired clasps and buckles. Maxim’s favourites are Harrington and bomber jackets, flat-front trousers, tennis shoes and striped-webbing belts. But we had to give them back when the store security caught us. The police got involved. Our parents were mortified.
