Pretty Green
‘If people like it, cool. If they don't, they don't'

Ordinarily our reaction to a brand designer claiming they hadn’t punted a new clothing range out for the money would be a suitably derisive snort with a side order of ‘Yeah, bollocks mate’. We all need some change in our pocket after all.

But when Liam Gallagher said it of his new Pretty Green clothing range, no such blurted reaction was made. Nonchalance and single-mindedness come easy to Pretty Green's main man, so it's hard not to believe him.

The brand's name is borne out of a Jam song and spreads itself evenly across a breadth of 60s Mod stylings but pointedly decorating each piece with a modern twist to ensure they're both timeless and original. In short, Pretty Green specialises in exactly the kind of clobber Gallagher himself would champion.

Think tailored parkas, Mod-influenced polos, edgy tees and lairy suede boots and you're not far wrong.

In addition, leaving the high street behind for a moment, the Pretty Green Black range reflects a more upmarket approach that looks top-notch.

Keep your eye on Maxim for more updates from Pretty Green.
