Okay, so it doesn't. But we can dream, can't we? 

Teofilo Cubillas was a bona fide Peruvian prodigy and, despite his heroics in the 1970 and 1978 World Cup and being named South American Footballer of the Year in 1972 above his more famous Argentinian and Brazilian counterparts, the Peru kit has always been more of a pull than their country's of soccer.

Modern Peruvian dudes will be proudly championing Umbro's tailored new top (see above) in the Copa America this summer as they attempt to topple the big boys and bring home a trophy that’s eluded them for over 70 years.

And, as per susual, if/when they fail, they’ll look mighty good doing so.
