Cardigans can be tricky for men. We're not over-enthused with the past few seasons skinny-fit ubiquitous black jobs: too ill-thought out and X-Factor for our tastes. Then you get sent a Mikkel Rude heavy knit cardigan in cream and you think, ah yes. That's the ticket. This is the style of cardigan you'd have seen on the sharper end of the terrace in 1979: teamed with a meticulously creased pair of original Levi Sta-prest and a heavily buffed loafer or brogue. Perhaps ounded off with a classic button-down Oxford, it echoes the rude boy's eye for Ivy league cool offset with a nice bit of British thug. This is quite simply right in every way. Comes in navy too.
Those eagle-eyed, ever-discerning chaps at Oi Polloi can sort you out before Christmas. At £150 you'd be some kind of fool not to treat yourself.
