Enter The Magic Wardrobe

The launch of my-wardrobe.com menswear

E-tailing is big business. Lots of new sites are springing up, and one exciting new kid on the block is my-wardrobe.com. We asked its menswear buyer, Lee Douros, to give us all the lowdown on the new site.

What should customers expect from the site?

Carefully selected offerings from the key contemporary menswear brands. Our site is easy to navigate, has great styling tips, and excellent customer service.

Who is the my-wardrobe man?
He’s aware of brands but isn’t a slave to them. He understands the heritage of brands and buys into these, and has a clear understanding of exceptional design and quality in clothing.

What would you say are the key trends for spring and summer?
Art-inspired T-shirts are getting clever this season, with slogans and logos on the out, and artwork, photography and abstract print on the in. Some are even good enough to hang on the wall. The Barbour International jacket is one of the best pieces. It’s been in production since 1936 and has recently been reworked to create a more modern silhouette. And carrot shaped jeans – the upper part of the jean is relaxed but tapers into a narrow cuff.

And your favourite labels?
Nudie Jeans. Its attention to fit is unsurpassed, it makes a jean for anyone looking for a high quality product. Polo Ralph Lauren also ticks all the right boxes. It can be worn in a multitude of ways from preppy to formal to casual, it’s a wardrobe must-have. Swedish label Velour also has an understated cool about its collection. Subtle design twists and quality construction make it Scandinavia’s best kept secret.
