WHAT'S THE STORY? You are convicted killer James Earl Cash, dramatically reprieved following a fake execution. Rescued from death by a sinister man known only as The Director, freedom comes at a price as you are forced to become a pawn in his murderous game (and we don't mean charades). Effectively becoming an actor in a snuff movie, you are up against other manhunters in a kill-or-be-killed scenario, with the action taking place in a series of bleak urban environments. Under the surveillance of CCTV, delivering the most dramatic death sequence is the goal, be it a plastic bag over the face or using a baseball bat to burst open an opponent's head. Sound gives your position away, and the game can be played with a headset that picks up your voice, as well as enabling you to hear The Director urging you to kill and kill again. Mario Sunshine, it isn't.
TECHNICALLY SPEAKING? Incredibly sick and twisted ultra-violent stealth-oriented cinematic third-person stab-'em-up.
PLAYS LIKE? Metal Gear Solid meets 8mm. Snuff gaming.
WORTH STAYING IN FOR? As long as you remember it's a game. Killing people is bad.
