Sons of Anarchy series 2
Exclusive clip

Following the phenomenal success of the first series, BRAVO keeps the motor running and the adrenaline kicking in for season two of the leather-clad and critically acclaimed biker drama Sons of Anarchy as it heads up a stellar spring schedule for 2010.

Created by Kurt Sutter, responsible for smash hit series The Shield, Sons of Anarchy boasts an all star cast led by hot British actor Charlie Hunnam as Jax Teller (Queer as Folk, Green Street, Nicholas Nicholby), Hollywood stalwart Ron Perlman as Clay (Hellboy), Katey Sagel (Married with Children) and Scottish actor Tommy Flanagan.

The 13 x 60 series which originally aired on FX in the US has already been re-commissioned for a further third season, becoming the channel’s most successful series, outperforming even established drama The Shield and Rescue Me.

With plotlines reminiscent of a modern day Shakespeare’s Hamlet, the immensely dark, adrenaline-pumped drama with underlying tones of sinister comedy follows the lives of an antihero outlaw motorcycle chapter called SAMCRO (Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club, Redwood Original) who will do anything in their power to protect their small American town of Charming from encroaching drug-dealers, greedy corporate hands and overzealous law enforcers.

Alongside this, the biking chapter are intent on guarding their thriving business of illegal arms dealing and will ruthlessly fulfil any duty required by the close-knit brotherhood in order to defend it.

With an unspoken agreement in their community allowing them to operate their questionable criminal activities whilst having the town’s best interests at heart, the series centers on protagonist Jackson "Jax" Teller, the Vice President of the Sons of Anarchy who begins questioning the club and himself.

Returning to our screens in April with a shocking and brutal season two opener, Sons of Anarchy promises to thrill and provoke with new hard-hitting storylines and huge revelations that threaten to tear the club apart.

Upcoming season highlights include a new threat in the form of a white separatist gang The League of American Nationalists (LOAN), headed up by Grammy award-winner Henry Rollins as AJ Weston. The antagonists descend on the town of Charming with a plan to force SAMCRO out for good no matter the outcome, while they still recover from the fallout of Donna’s death in season one and deal with internal conflicts that threaten the club’s future.

The brutal gang mean business as they hit out against members of SAMCRO’S nearest and dearest. Taking a turn for the worse, they viciously attack the matriarch of the club and Jax’s mother Gemma Teller Morrow in scenes which will shock and stun even regular viewers.

In a bid to protect the club, Gemma initially stays silent not wanting the rival gang to get the response they were counting on from SAMCRO, only revealing her colossal secret to her husband Clay and Jax in a move she hopes will bring them closer together.

With her devastating news revealed, the club go on a rampage of epic proportions as Jax’s loyalty to the club is tested by his growing apprehension for its lawlessness.

With tempers fraught and guns ablazing, the club are determined to protect their town and ruthless and illegal thriving arms business from the threat that could possibly take them away from everything they have ever known…kickback and enjoy the open road…only on BRAVO.
